A Temple student with close ties to the Drexel community was killed in a car crash in southern Va. Sophomore Kammini Ragoopath was studying public relations at Temple University.

The crash, which happened during the early hours of Feb. 27, occurred a little over a month after Ragoopath had joined Delta Phi Omega, a city-wide sorority with sisters at Temple, Drexel, and USP among other Philadelphia area schools.
